" Celeste, I love your use of language. Rotten socks AND a frosted liver? Actually, anger was thought to be related to your liver by the ancient Greeks since the word " Choleric " which means " angry " literally means having too much bile. Personally, I prefer to say that something " squeezes my adrenals " . luL Leon p.s. Welcome new members! We have a deaf 6 year old dyanamo named Hanni. We mostly use PSE and live in Rochester, NY. p.p.s. My wife the radiologist says that CT scans aren't any fun for the radiologist either if there is trouble getting the kid to sleep. For those of you who have had negative experiences with nurses in doctors offices, need I remind you that sometimes it's the doctor who's the jerk and the nurse is the one with sense? You can get good information and help from paraprofessionals as well as from professionals. I'm reminded (for no good reason) of an old friend who was doing his Pediatrics internship at Duke in N.C. He saw a very sick child with a rash. Didn't have a clue. He stepped out of the examining room to gather his thoughts. The cleaning woman in the corridor looked up from her mop and said to him, " Mighty early for that Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever this year. " OK, I'll shut up now.
