Guest guest
Kaye, For a win-win posibility, why not consider doing an alternative formula for your infant for 3 or 4 days while getting some amalgams replaced and pumping and dumping for that period. Both you and your child will have reduced exposures in the long term that way. My husband is expecting a nice raise in January, so maybe we can afford it then, but I'm on the bottom of the line in terms of " getting fixed " . Even though I am very mercury toxic, my 2 babies and husband are in much worse health than me. BUT when it is MY turn, I will do just as you suggest. I plan on lactating even after Toby is done nursing due to the history of breast cancer in my family, so pumping and dumping will be a way of life for me. Sincerely, Kaye
