Hello : Your story is so similar to the rest of ours,

retained placenta followed by D & C followed by no periods. I agree

with you, with no periods despite the hormones, you are very likely

to have Asherman's. I also agree with you that you need to see an RE

(reproductive endocrinologist) and NOT the OB that delivered your son

and left the placenta in place. I'd think you would definitely have

some trust issues with him. I think we have at least a couple of

members from Canada, hopefully one of them can give you a referral to

a specialist they trust.

As for suing, I know there a number of members who are either

actively pursuing litigation or investigation it. All I can say is

that it's a personal decision....

Welcome to the group, I'm sure you'll find lots of infomraiton and

support here.

Gwen

(one girl born 9/97, retained placenta, D & C, no periods for 3 years,

misdiagnosed with hypothalamic amennorrhea, first RE visit July this

year, surgery September, first period since 1996 in october, awaiting

second period (which is late) before starting IVF to conceive before

scarring reforms (assuming it hasn't!))
