Do you know if your sons will have to wear their hearing aids for their

lifetime, or if they only will need them while they are school age. My

daughter's loss is moderate in the low frequencies and mild in the mid to

high frequencies and someone told me that if she already had aquired her

speech skills before she had this loss, she might not even need hearing aids.

They said maybe she won't need them when she is older. Is this totally

wrong information I've been given?
