Guest guest
My oldest son finally did something about his diabetes. I think he was in denial before. He knew it was high and did nothing. However, tonight he had called and said he had it down with meds. So, he finally relented and saw a dr. He hadn't called since Christmas, figured he was mad at me for pushing him to do something. But tonight he said, it's been three months (so, he did go after Christmas!) and the dr. is happy with his progress. He has weight to lose and is working on it. He is on glucophage and amaryll(sp) He said it's nice to sleep the night through without bathroom hopping! Yes it is!! His cholesterol was also high and that is down also. So, each has to come to their own resolution in their time, trouble is will the diabetes wait for one to come to terms with it and accept it and do something about it? But that is the choice each has to make. Madge
