Guest guest
Hi , This sounds like a great flush to me and so well thought out and prepared. Definitely sounds like a winner. ;-) You inspired me to start the liver/gallbladder drink from Dr. Schulze's prescription drinks. I have never combined raw garlic with raw ginger together in one drink....I have them separately raw, but not together....this combination is probably what caused the massive garlic odor you were experiencing because I don't ever recall smelling this awful in all my garlic eating days and some days I have eaten up to 8 large cloves raw....lol. Okay so my husband about keeled over tonight when he came home from work, he said I reeked just awful. He had to take me down to Whole Foods but only under one condition, I had to chew some heavily minted gum. I started with higher doses than what Dr. S. suggests for day one. I think that when that garlic is pureed that it must absorb quickly into the system thus another reason for the massive stink......teeehehehehehe....I think it's rather comical. But you also have to understand that I do not find cologne/perfume appealing. Not that I find garlic an attractive odor, but that because I am not offended by natural odors that aren't waste, then I am not offended by food smells of that sort. I prefer the smell of the Essential oils on the body as they tend to blend with the body chemistry. (? what this has to do with gb cleansing, nothing and everything, we will not smell like decay needing those synthetic fragrances to cover up natural odor) I have to give you a pat on the back for following through and going into work with that in your system......whewww!! Good girl! First, I finished up a 7 day parasite cleanse yesterday, using Dr. Schulze's Liver/Gallbladder Anti-Parasite Formula. This was accompanied by 5 days (I actually did ) of the Liver Flush drink in the mornings (apple juice, garlic, ginger and oil). I'd like to think that all of this was also a little extra preparation for the flush. Today I did a juice fast, including a quart of apple juice (granny smith) and lemon juice. Tonight I am using apple juice again (instead of the ES, which many of you know I usually leave out anyway) and added radishes to the juice mix. I made up a quart of that, had half of it at 7:00 and will have the other half at 8:00. Then later I will have the oil/juice mix. I went out and got the 'good stuff' this time. Organic, extra-virgin, first cold-pressed olive oil. While I usually use lemon juice, this time I'm using a combination of mostly grapefruit and a little lemon (no special reason for that other than variety). When I juiced the grapefruit and lemon I also put garlic and ginger through the juicer with them. The garlic is a natural antiparasitic and the ginger is to help avoid nausea. I'm going to space the drinks apart, but just have three of them. It's 12 oz of juice and 12 oz of oil. I know that might sound like a lot, but it feels right to me this time. I won't sweat it, though, if I don't think I can get the last drink down. Oh, I also had reflexology today and had the massage therapist work on the gallbladder pressure point. I have a blend of castor oil and Lavender and Geranium essential oils to use to massage that area again (before I start drinking the oil mix) and also to use for the castor oil pack. That's probably more information than anybody wanted. I just wanted to let you all know what I'm up to tonight. Wish me luck! in health, rachel~
Guest guest
Would it help to add parsley or other chlorophyll source to the drink? Guest guest
Ann, Gosh, now that is something worth trying I would imagine it would not hurt to give it a go. I have fresh parsley here so I will add it to my morning drink and let you know the outcome. Thanks for the great suggestion! .-) Peace Lu ----- Original Message ----- From: Ann Staley gallstones Sent: Wednesday, March 13, 2002 11:51 PM Subject: Re: Cleanse #10 - something different Would it help to add parsley or other chlorophyll source to the drink? Have you juiced garlic before or just had it raw? I'm wondering if juicing is what truly makes it so potent. That's great that you're using the drink. That's something that I will keep up with on some kind of a regular basis. Probably not to the quantity that I did, but on the other hand, maybe I could build up to it. I've read that 2-3 cloves of garlic a day is sufficient. (but sufficient for what? it has so many different purposes!) I have started chopping up a clove and adding it to my salad. I had soup tonight and did that also - added a chopped clove of garlic shortly before I ate the soup. So I'm definitely getting more in there than I was before! I think it's fine that you started with higher doses. Most people (like me) need to build up to more, but you're so used to it that you can handle a higher number right from the start. I'm with you on the perfume/cologne thing. I never really got what the appeal was there and think that natural is better. Unless of course the perfume is being used to cover up really bad B.O. Then I guess I'd appreciate that someone is using it! I can also, though, completely understand that it wouldn't necessarily be appealing to share an office with someone who's reeking of garlic! So the kudos go to my coworker for putting up with it without complaint (this time). in health rachel~ The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it and ignorance may deride it, but in the end there it is. " Winston Churchill

I will definitely try that next time. I've read that chewing on parsley can help with the garlic odor in the mouth, but at the higher quantities, that odor is coming through the pores, so a mouthful of parsley wouldnt' help! But maybe if it's added to the drink and consumed at the same time it would make a difference. Thanks for the suggestion! in health, rachel~ The truth is incontrovertible. Actually it's just one person who was directly affected by it. We share an office and our desks are only about 8 feet apart. Everyone else had limited sharing of airspace. I'm not sure what I would have done if the situation was reversed. I mean - I doubt that I would have said anything, either. I mean - how on earth would you tell someone that they reek? hahahaha rachel~ The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it and ignorance may deride it, but in the end there it is. Guest guest
, I have used juiced garlic lots but after it presses through the juicer much of it is left in the pulp....this drink I put through a garlic press and then in the blender and then blend it, thus the whole glove is pureed....so yes, I believe it is the potency of the garlic being pureed....whew!! teehehe.....I think it was very decent of the office workers to allow it...roflol...it's so potent that way! ,-) Peace Lu ----- Original Message ----- From: Rachd1961@...
