Hello,

I'm new to the group and fairly new to the liver flush methodolgy.

I have a few questions that I was hoping that someone might be able

to answer. These are in reference to the Hulda method.

1) I understand that the MGSO4 is used to dilate the openings to the

gall bladder and liver. Is it recommended that someone new to

flushing use MGSO4? Also, if MGSO4 is used only for dilation, then

why is it required after the ingestion of the olive oil?

2) Is there something unique to Olive Oil that makes it work for this

method? Or will any oil/fat work? I have read a few websites that

basically say that any oil/fat should work. That introducing large

quantities of fat/oil after a period of fasting forces the gall

bladder to expile stones and bile. Could someone clarify this? If

this is true, then does that mean if I do not eat anything for 12

hours and then ingest a large quantity of fat/oil (say 2 sticks of

butter) that this will cause stones to be flushed out?

The reason that I ask is I have been following high fat diet for

several years and I'm wondering if I'm already flushing my

gallbladder/liver regularly.

Seth

P.S. I do not have any gallbladder/liver symptoms that I know of. I

have recently recoverd from a severe case of Crohn's Disease using

the SCD diet. I also run a group called HealingCrow on egroups that

talks about nutrition and chronic illnesses.
