Hello,

If it's in the centre, it's not likely to come from the gallbladder

(stones or infection), as the pain then would be below the lower

right rib, as far as I know. Maybe your symptoms could be in the bile

ducts, though. Infection in the bile ducts will give you sudden high

fever, shiverings and a kind of " soft " (as opposed to sharp) pain,

closer to the centre than when the gallbladder itself is affected.

This is according to a conventional medicine book I have.

Conventional treatment is said to be with antibiotics.

It could be something else, of course... :-(

Good luck!

P.S.

Listmembers may be interested in knowing that there's an inexpensive

book out there by Isidore Rosenfeld listing symptoms and explaining

what could cause them:

I don't have it myself. Does anyone here?

This sounds like it could be ulcer related and/or gallbladder related

as well. If you already have ultrasound showing stones, then those

are causing you the nightly pain already. The nightly pain (3-4 hours

after eating, while sleeping into the night) is exactly what I have.

I also have an ultrasound scan showing a 1cm stone floating around in

my gallbladder. A flush would do you good. I don't see how it could

make you feel any worse than you already feel. If anything, you will

notice a great improvement to your health. The liver cleanse is

painless. The Epsom Salt and Olive oil makes it painless and easy.

You don't have to worry about that. The pain of a colic attack is

enough to convince me to cleanse with oil to try and relieve that

pain. I have done 7 cleanses using Dr. Hulga Liver/GB Cleanse

on www. curezone.com and have not had pain at all. Only once did I

have an uncomfortable feeling, slight pain, for a few minutes as

stones were passing out. You will love the results of cleaning out

years of gunk, stones, toxins from your body. And your overall

feeling of well-being and good health will improve. I've even lost 10

lbs over the last two months of doing this cleanse. Just another

added benefit because I am now at my desired perfect weight of

160lbs. So, give it a try. What have you got to loose? You can only

gain from the attempt. And once again, in 99% of the cases, it is

totally painless. Good luck.

Barry.

This sounds exactly like what I experience. Mine are shorter in duration, but

I think I'm in the minority with that out here! With the last one I was

actually 'talking' with my sister on the computer and couldn't even sit and

type a conversation! Leaning forward or backwards seems to help and I think

that might be that the repositioning dislodges the stone that's causing the

problem. Just a hunch there.

Evidently it isn't just fatty foods that bring on these attacks, but it can

possibly be just anything that your body has difficulty digesting. So

perhaps some of those things that you listed are just a challenge for your

body.

It seems to me that doing a flush would be worthwhile, even if it possibly

turns out that the problem wasn't gallstones. The flush will help

de-congest your liver, which helps in SO many aspects of health.

Anyway...good luck and please do keep us posted!

I just noticed this part and wanted to mention that the GB attacks in the

past few months (about one a month) have each been shortly before my period

as well. Interesting....... I have no idea what the significance is of

that, but I wonder how many other women out here have noticed the same thing.

Anyone??

Hi guys,

Whilst we're discussing this in relation to periods (too embarrassed to

report earlier) but the liver flush I did a month back actually induced my

period to being 2 weeks early! Has anyone (or rather any other women!!!) had

the same experience?

Regards,

Michele

Hi ,

Your pain is exactly in the same pain as mine was! (I have to contradict Helge's

post.) My symptoms started just like yours....where you're at now, compared to

myself, I can tell you it was about 6 months to a year later that I was having

my GB removed! The pain you're experiencing is most likely triggered by the fat

you eat, although protein can cause the same symptoms too. I too was afraid to

do the liver cleanse, because the only place I was reading about it was on an

internet site. However, two weeks after surgery I was still having attacks,

because of stones most likely still in my common bile duct. I didn't want to

go in for another medical procedure, and so I tried the liver cleanse. After 2

cleanses, I was free of pain and all my digestive symptoms. After a total of 8

cleanses, I've passed near 2,000 stones. The ingredients of the liver cleanse

are natural and would not hurt you. IMO you have nothing to lose and everything

to gain by giving it a try. I know that I wish I had known about it before I'd

had surgery.

Yes, when I used to have my period it did seem to come soon

after flushing, off schedule. Not sure of why, unless it was just

part of the body cleansing or an affect on hormones. I'd hate to

have that come back after a year of nothing when I flush in

2 weeks :-(
