Two kids, two deaf kids. They are best friends or mortal enemies at any given moment in time. They teach each other all the good things and all the nasty things alike. ------ I would have to agree with what the guys said above. We also have two kids who have hearing loss - while it was hard news to get at the time, they are so supportive of each other now and understand each other in ways Hugh and I could not. Also, when Tom was diagnosed was ADD, it was helpful to notice that Sam did not have attention problems at all (so probably Tom's issues weren't related to hearing but to something else). Do I wish they both could hear? Sure - but we often find easier for both of them to be in the same boat also. Barbara

Chiliad is a tiny Internet startup, and I can't tell you what they do, or I'll have to kill you. 8^). Everything is very hush-hush for obvious reasons. I am employee #19, and I'm the only IT person there right now. I have to purchase and install a phone system, a backup system, a real network, a firewall, a slew of application, compute, and infrastructure servers, all yesterday, and we are establishing vendor relationships as we go. It's crazy, often frustrating, but it's very exciting. If we go IPO, I'll let you all know.
