Guest guest
Hi Debbie/DJ! Glad to hear you're back home, and not in too much pain from the surgery. I hope this gets rid of all of THOSE problems for you. I can't believe that tylenol is taking care of the pain, but think that's great. How are things with the condo going? Have you heard back from FHA yet? I've got my fingers crossed for you, and I'm keeping you in my prayers, hopefully, one or the other will work. I really miss the trick or treaters. We live in a very rural area, on a private road, and our driveway is over 400 ft. long. No one bothers trick or treating in our neighborhood, they'd spend hours doing the 14 houses on the road and have to go home! I do miss that, though. My kids are too old to dress up for trick or treating, too, so I don't even get that fun! It's tough to get old! Take it easy, try not to strain yourself. I don't know about three weeks for recovery, so you may want to be sure your son has lots of friends around to help you lift boxes when you move! Let me know how you're doing! Hugs, Jo
Guest guest
Hi Deb, Jo, Barbara, Lori and all, I am home!! Had to stay the extra day because of vomiting but I got to come home yesterday afternoon. I just can't handle the morphine, makes me sick every time even with the antinausea drugs. My doctor said there was scar tissue everywhere so he had to take everything. At least I won't have any more problems with irregular bleeding and pain! Anyone have any useful hints that doctor's never mention as far as recovery goes? I am planning to move here in about 3 weeks and that is how long he said I would have to take it easy. He was able to remove everything through small incisions intravaginally so recovery should be easier. I am not taking any pain meds as the pain really isn't that bad. Tylenol is strong enough to take the edge off. Hope everyone is ready for the little ghosts and goblins tonight! I am going to let my son handle that end of it! He went out on a hay ride with his friends last night but I don't think he really enjoyed it. He hates to get all dirty! Only time he doesn't mind getting dirty is when he is bike riding in the rain! Well, time to get back to a reclining position. You guys take care, Debbie/DJ ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! Guest guest
Hi DJ, You sound great! I am so happy everything went well. And hardly any pain as well!!! Just please listen to your doctor about restrictions, it is very important that you rest and don't lift, climb stairs, etc. Anything new with the town house? When are you supposed to move in? Well write whenever you are up to it. Love Jai
