The child wears headphones and listens to music broken up into odd patterns, pitches and tones. I do not know how to explain it but it helps to rewire the child's brain in connection with auditory comprehension. It is done twice a day for two weeks so most people do it during the summer. We did it for a few years back and are thinking of doing it again. It helped her overcome her fear of sound when she first got her hearing. I do not know where you live but I can give you the name of a very good audiologist from Children's Hospital in Detroit who does this on the side. Her name is . Her company is Innovative Therapies. The phone number is . She also does Fast Forward which is a new computer program that helps children progress in speech. Guest guest
No major behaviour problems, though he can be a bit defiant at times. Do you have special techniques for handling your son? > does he also have behavioral/emotional issues?
