Welcome Back! We did miss you. As for your doctor's statement that " if you get a

period everything is ok. " Well, I agree with him, but only to a point. If, after surgery,

you have a " full " or " regular " period then the amount of scar tissue that might be

remaining would have to be very minimal if even existent, so I guess I would agree

that no HSG would necessarily have to be performed. I don't know whether my

doctor plans on doing a " repeat " HSG on me or not.

I DO think, however, that you would certainly want to know what your lining measurement

is before trying to become pregnant again. As we have all discussed before, attempting

to become pregnant with too thin of a lining seems like a recipe for miscarriage so I

would definitely want that done. But that can be done with Ultrasound can it not?

I guess I am wondering also, why would we have to have repeat HSG's after surgery

if our periods return to normal?
