Garlic - links

Here's some information about garlic and precautions. I'd really encourage

anyone to check out the first site, though, which also lists the seemingly

endless benefits of garlic! To be wise and sensibly cautious, anyone on

prescription meds, especially for blood pressure management or blood thinning

will want to check out the second link and anyone on anti-HIV therapies would

be wise to check the third.

Safety

Garlic has an excellent safety record and is well tolerated by most people.

There is no known toxicity, although it can cause stomach irritation in

sensitive individuals. (Taking garlic with food may reduce the chance of

stomach irritation.) Use concentrated garlic products with caution during

pregnancy; however, food consumption of garlic in pregnancy has a long

history of safe use. Garlic in breast milk may cause colic in nursing babies.

Thanks for the great links...for sure don't take it on an empty stomach! I

pressed it so the juices were right there. It made me throw up once. Take with

food. of DH
