The only difference is that white grapefruit has a lower sugar content. I've

read in some places that sour is better - that's why the lemon juice is

recommended. It might have something to do with it's ability to help

dissolve/soften stones, but that's just a hunch on my part. However, I've

also seen some that call for orange juice, so....all in all I would think

that it doesn't really matter. Laik bilong yu. (That's Melanesian Pidgin

for " whatever you think is best " . Are you impressed? lol)

i have actually been unable to find white grapefruit around here anywhere.

Sounds like a bit of paradise to me! So Hawaiian pidgeon is very similar,

evidently, to Melanesian Pidgin, which I learned a bit of when I was in Papua

New Guinea back in 1998. A different world over there.....I'd go back in a

heartbeat if i could! :)

Does it really matter if the grapefruit is pink or yellow? Dawn

Dawn, I don't think it matters. I just prefer pink, because it's sweeter. It

also helps color the olive oil which I like. of Dewberry Hill
