Mandy, you asked about my circumstances before menopause-- well I had endometriosis, benign cysts on ovaries, terrible periods, need I say more. 20 years ago, I had a lapraotomy which confirmed the endo and benign cysts. The abdomal surgery was miserable and that's why I don't jump on the operating table immediately again. I've been waiting for the technology to get better for laprascopy and it surely has so if I have a myo, I've found Dr. Lyons in Atlanta who specializes in that.
