Message text written by INTERNET:uterinefibroids

><

Mandy, I can't remember exactly what my doc said about myo after

menopause but I think he said there was very little chance of fibroid

regrowth after menopause. That's why I waited all this time. I 'm

disappointed that my fibroid has not shrunk during this 3 1/2 year wait.

If anyone has any insight into the chances of regrowth after a myo when

you're 3 1/2 years into menopause I'd like to hear from you. Mandy, you

asked about my circumstances before menopause-- well I had endometriosis,

benign cysts on ovaries, terrible periods, need I say more. 20 years ago,

I had a lapraotomy which confirmed the endo and benign cysts. The abdomal

surgery was miserable and that's why I don't jump on the operating table

immediately again. I've been waiting for the technology to get better for

laprascopy and it surely has so if I have a myo, I've found Dr. Lyons in

Atlanta who specializes in that.
