Yeah,……I

learned that watching “Dances With Wolves”! lol…..

Today the

heat is better. Low 90’s. It’s amazing how much cooler the house

has stayed being in the 90’s compared to the 100’s.

I do

know that if this is going to be the norm for NW Oregon during the summers, I sure don’t

want to live here. I can’t stand the thought of not being able to move my

limbs, and not being able to leave my house. I must find cooler climates!! To the

NORTH……I must go! Whidbey Island here I come……lol!!

a cousin that lives in TaTa Creek,

BC. I’ve never met her in

person, but I have many relatives in Canada. My grandma was born in Winnipeg.

Hubby and I had a talk

about moving back to the Island, and he’s

not real thrilled about it. He did make a good point about leaving the

grandchildren, and that would be the one thing that would stop me too.

It’s a matter of do I

move some place to make me more comfortable, or do I stay and suffer to be with

my grandchildren? Tough decision. If my son had full

custody he would consider all of them moving with us too. I doubt that the girls mother would allow it. She doesn’t want them to

live with her, but she would be angry if they moved too far away.

If I had my way,……………I’d scoop

everyone up and head north!! J

Actually I meant that seriously! I've been to Canada, many times, and used to live on the St Lawrence right across from Canada, saw it every day. We're thinking Ottawa. I didn't mean it as a slur, but as a compliment!

I've been to Canada on both coasts, Vancouver is Awesome! Really beautiful, nice people, Clean city and the views are breathtaking! We, however, are now back on the East coast, so Ottawa would be our choice. I hear it is a very friendly place for those of us on the Metaphysical path.

As you know, Jackie, I've made the decision to stay where it's hotter than to go back to Alaska. There are several reasons. I did feel better in Alaska. But who knows if that would have continued? MS has it's ups and downs as we all know. I need to be closer to Challis and her 4 wonderful children. I want all my family to be together. It wasn't okay to be so far away from Challis. Can you imagine what it would have been like for me on Saturday to get a call from Challis saying was headed to the hospital? (I'll tell everyone about that in another email)

So family is the first reason. The second reason is the lack of a neuro in Alaska. We lived on the Kenai Peninsula and the nearest neuro was in Anchorage--a 5 hour drive in good weather. I did have a good primary care doc in Homer and maybe that would have been enough. I did feel better in AK but what if that changed?

Family is more important to me than how I feel. And I know how you feel about those granddaughters!
