I'll definitely let you know. I'm doing the standard cleanse today. I was

going to wait until tomorrow because it's the full moon and I've read that's

the best time to do the flush. However, I decided that consistency is

important to me and since I've been juice fasting on Wednesdays for about two

months now - it is more important to me to continue that and I didn't feel

like juice fasting for TWO days (not just yet anyway).

But as for the juicing - I guess I included a fair amount with this one, too.

I started the day with the juice of an apple and beet (with SuperFood), had

about a quart of apple/lemon juice through the morning and a half gallon of

water in the afternoon with lemon and cayenne. I've downed the Epsom Salts

(haven't done those in a while - mixed them with apple juice this time and

have to say that it's a waste of good apple juice <grin>) and am approaching

the oil/juice mixture shortly. I moved the schedule ahead an hour because I

need to get to bed early.

Anyway, after this flush, hopefully I will be moving to doing them once a

month and gradually move to every six months for maintenance. I'm glad,

because even though I know this is an incredibly healthy thing to do....I've

had about enough of drinking olive oil!! :)

This much 'juicing' would suggest that it will aide in the loosening

of stagnant sludge and clinging stones (stones that stick to the

gallbladder wall) before the oil drink. Sounds like it can only be a

helpful method in the cleanse.

Let us know how it goes, when and if you do it. :-)

Good luck tonight. All that extra juice and water should

help 'breakup' any sludge or stones that are hanging to the wall of

the gallbladder and perhaps even the smaller sandy, grainy stuff

clinging to the ducts.

Note; Remember to stop drinking fluids a couple of hours before the

oil drink. You don't want to mix the oil with a lot of water because

the water will sit on top of the oil in your stomache\ and can cause

nausea or vomiting. You know that already.

Sounds great that you are getting to the 'maintenance' level soon.

One thing I have heard about continuing to keep your body 'oiled' up

without drinking cups of olive oil every two weeks is to take only a

teaspoon of olive oil every morning 1/2 hour before foods. This is a

great maintenance tip to be implimented with twice a year flushes.

(You are never going to get away from that lovely oil) :-)

Tell us how it goes. The gruesome details. :-)

I was a kid mum used to force us to drink a spoonful of this stuff every

day - gawd knows why... any suggestions?

cheers

I've read that also, to take an amount of oil (I think it varies by body

weight) in the morning. That I can deal with - it's chugging the larger

amounts down that I'd gotten tired of. :) I think the problem with that

last flush, actually (in regard to not wanting to drink the oil) was that I

used the Epsom Salts. I think they left me feeling yucky and then I didn't

want to add anything else to a stomach that was already unsettled. I did

fine, though, didn't have any serious nausea.

I've even gotten used to doing the oil swishing, by the way. I've been doing

that every morning and I think it helped with that recent dental problem that

I had. It wasn't actually a tooth problem but was a gum problem and I do

believe that the oil swishing was a factor in getting the irritation out of

there. If that makes any sense.
