Be sure to tell them you are on herbs as some interfere with chemo.

RE: Getting my strength back!

Hi all,

I am going to see the nutrictionist at my oncologists office, tomorrow.

What questions can you think of that I should ask? I heard that I should not

take multi-vitamins which have folic acid, while taking chemo therapy. Are

there other things? I am taking some herbs like euchanesea (sp?) and

anti-oxidants, green tea, etc. Any info would be much appreciated...chemo

starts this coming Monday.

Joann, what vitamins, etc. are you taking, and what dosage?

Thanks,

Gloria

taking Tamoxifen... being on it for a month now and haven't had any bad side

effects... well... no more periods but that is something I like. lol.. other

than that, I can't think of any other. I also take lots of vitamins and

antioxidants [super Blue Green Cell Tech Algae] [which my oncologist told me

I could take anything I wanted] My friend told me this antioxidant had

helped many women going thru menopause get thru without having the hot

flashes, mood swings...
