Guest guest
Thanks for all the info. I did finish my last pack of bcp's and then stopped taking them, so I did complete the cycle, but When I started taking the placebo's, where you would normally have a 'period' I did not get one. We are planning to wait out the 3 months, which will be beginning December, before actively ttc., but this delay sort of puts us on hold now, because I can't start counting the 3 cycles untill AF gets here. It's just frustrating. Where the temps. are concerned, I just wanted to get myself use to the whole thing before AF gets here, so I can get some practice in, and feel more confident by the time I really have to take them.Anyway, we will just have to wait it out I suppose. I really do appreciate all the advice though, thanks for helping. Guest guest
Sonja, Well you know I recently stopped the bcp. I took the 28-day type and the last 7 were the sugar pills. On the bcp I rarely bled, just a little spotting. So in August I took them for the 28 days and stopped. I spotted btwn day 2 - 4 of the sugar pills. Then I really got a heavy AF in Sept exactly 28 after I started spotting in August. So maybe it'll be another month before you get a normal AF. I started taking temps yesterday, the first day of my new cycle. Day one I was 97.8 and today I was 97.4, so your temps are close to mine. Here's what I would do, if you are in doubt take a hpt. If not I think your body just needs that month to recover. I am not tracking the other signs - maybe next month. I have to be in work at 7:30 so I don't have the time to check the other signs yet. Hope this helps and keep me posted. We're so close in our plans for ttc it'll be nice to go thru it together. Tara Normal? Hi guys! I just have a question I am hoping you'd be able to help me with. After all the months of not having normal AF's, and AF lasting too long, or being too heavy, now that I've gone off the bcp's AF won't arrive! I stopped taking the bcp's now 10 days ago, and had light spotting for 2 days after(very light)but AF never came. Usually when I've gone off the bcp's I get a normal to heavy period within 2 days of coming off them. Do you think that it is normal to not bleed after? Could it be that I am not ovulating? I honestly don't know what to think any more. My body never does what it is supposed to! I did start taking my temps. about 9 days ago, just to get use to it, and so far the temps look pretty normal to me.(ranging between 97.5 and 97.8, except for this morning it was 97.3) so There doesn't seem to be a problem there, but I just don't know what to think. As we want to ttc. again this is really putting a hold on things. My CM seems to be quite 'creamy' today, and I have tried feeling my CP but I am not sure what I am supposed to be looking for. I think I felt it, and it sort of felt squishy, and with a dent in the middle. (does that sound right?) Anyway, PLEASE HELP! I am an complete idiot with this! Guest guest
Krista and Angel, I think CP is cervical position. It's the third sign to track when using Natural Family Planning. Tara Re: Normal? Angel, CM is cervical mucus, but I have no idea what CP is! Take care, Krista ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eGroups.com home: /group/ectopicpregnancy - Simplifying group communications
Guest guest
I can't tell you why you did not start when you were supposed to...hopefully it will happen soon. You had been having some trouble with the BCP's anyway, right? Hope the info I sent you helped. It's good that you are working on getting in the habit with the BBT's and such also...I had the hardest time remembering at first! Good luck, and keep us informed! J.
