Guest guest
Thanks for the great information Norma. It is curious to me why there are die hard critics of low carb eating- who insist that true weight is not lost- when there are before and after pictures on the internet of some awesome people who look and feel so good- and have lost all the way up to 150 pounds and more. 150 pound *loss* plus! How can the critics have the nerve to dismiss that kind of change in someone's health and life? It must be pride- not wanting to be proven incorrect- so they dig in and refuse to hear or think any other way. Curious. How can the critics have Mari Anne, The diet industry has a lot to lose if people find out that low carb works. The thought of low carb/high protein is so scary to die hard low fat dieters that most have a hard time with the thought alone and won't try it. They are so scared of having clogged arteries because they don't grasp the concept of why low carbing works. Think of Craig: If half of the people who use her programs find out that low carbing will work for them, she may have to give up a few of her yachts and summer vacation homes!!!! Doctors may only get to have fifteen weeks of vacation a year... There's a lot of money to be lost... However, the low carb industry is surely taking charge as I am finding more and more products geared towards low carb dieting. So, besides losing money, the diet industry, including the government, ADA, AHA,WHO, etc.. and doctors, will have HUGE servings of crow to eat... and I don't think they'd like the taste... low carb though it is!
