Guest guest
He also said there are some blood tests to measure these chemicals (I think one is serotonin) and there are meds to help stabilize them. Hi DJ, During the last visit to the pain clinic the director said to me they just started treating RSD patients a little over 3 years ago and they never trained in pain management in medical school. Very reassuring. I remember a while ago asking the same doctor if RSD affects the heart and she looked me right in the face and said no does not directly affect heart. At the time very reassuring. Obviously I would be extremely interested in the tests that your doctor is going to do to measure the serotonin and the other chemicals that he thinks may be a factor in RSD. Imagine, if there were a simple blood test and a simple pill out there. Let me know please, I find this to be exciting news. I would also like to do my own research so if you could find out the names of it all for me. Thanks Debbie. Hugs to all and a pain free minute, Deb Listowner RSD-Crpsegroups
