Guest guest
Although I occasionally use colloidal silver for its antibiotic/antiviral effects rather than antibiotics, I also use an Ion Cleanse footbath for detox, which chelates out silver along with other toxics.  Some who use colloidal silver get their energy meridians blocked by it like other toxic metals and can have other adverse effects.  The detox generally deals with this I think. Guest guest
Dr. Beck (Becks protocol) looks at it 180 degrees differntly. He promotes colloidal silver and would not touch garlic. Research is research, two different sources / two different perspectives. I wouldn't discount CS which has worked for many. You can always take probiotics. Pugh wrote: I listened to a health seminar this week and learned from Jon Barron that colloidal silver not only kills the bad bacteria, it kills the good ones too. He said that a garlic tincture is discriminatory and will only kill the bad guys. It's a better natural antibiotic, in his opinion. I've never thought CS seemed like a good idea, especially longterm use. Hearing this from a medical doctor/turned naturopath confirmed that my hesitation was warranted. Do the research. --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
Guest guest
Hi Everyone. wrote: > I'm sure it kills germs, the problem is, according to the research that I > found, it also kills beneficial bacteria. Since being on this list I have recommended to all who will listen that if they are prescribed antibiotics, they should follow up with a course of pro-biotics, wondering why doctors and pharmacies don't do this automatically, i.e. make it part of the standard treatment. So now I'm thinking about anti-inflammatories -- does the same apply? What is causing the inflammation, and why? And should a person stay on a diet that includes a number of natural anti-inflammatories? What are we actually doing when we reduce inflammation? Can there be a down side to taking them too often or for too long? Bonnie. -- ^__\ / |\ THIS EMAIL POWERED BY THE WIND | | Bonnie Datta | Airdrie, Canada | www.brdatta.ca / \ mailto: brdatta@...
