Guest guest
Margaret, I suspect that DH is mercury toxic, the memory problems and confusion are very indicative of toxicity. Has he had an essential elements hair analysis? I think this would be a good idea. Celia. p.s. why would you specifically want a doctor who is not a DAN doctor. I think you are very lucky to have that option. In the UK we cannot find any doctors who know anything about chelation. [ ] Why so long? > Hi > > Last night a miracle hit my house! Guest guest
Margaret, Awesome! It takes a while because of the need to go low and slow so as not to cause more damage as the mercury departs its hiding places and exits the body and because of the detox impairment caused by the offending toxins. Of course each individual's body goes as its own rate. Guest guest
Wow, Margaret, that is great. As for why it takes so long, I look at it this way: mercury is very toxic. Therefore, you need to get it out gradually. This way it is easier on your liver and kidneys than if you tried to do it fast. Also, while detoxing you are exposed to more mercury (as it leaves) which can cause some toxicity symptoms. Since I don't want to have major merc sickness, slow is better. Also, in your case, slow will lessen the increase in regression and other merc toxic effects during the detox process. You may still get SOME negative effects from chelation, but not like if you were trying to do it all at once. Faster = higher risk. The body can only handle so much toxic garbage at a time. It is the MERCURY that is dangerous here. By the way, any idea how the miracle came about? Kym takes her child to an immunologist in Redwood City. I don't know the doc's name. Kym, are you listening? I remember thinking this doctor sounded okay to me. That was months ago. Hopefully Kym can tell you more. There is a group of 3 docs in Los Altos in practice together; at least 2 (maybe all 3) do chelation. I have reasonable evidence that one of them was using DMPS injections as of about 11/2000 (which I think is " a bad thing " , or certainly less than optimal). Someone on the list said one of them is now using DMSA (or was that DMPS?) orally. I asked for more info but have not gotten any more details. (ask if you want names & phone #s for these guys, I have them.) Don't know if this helps--- not sure where you are. You could also try asking the non-merc dentists in your area for referrals. (I actually have ads for a number of non-merc dentists in north bay and east bay I think.... again, tell me where you are and I'll see if I can find them. Or, you can find ads like this for non-merc dentists, in the throwaway papers at the HFS.... at least in the Bay Area.) I'm commenting here on docs who " do chelation " (which is what you said you are looking for)-- this doesn't insure that they are " safe " or " knowledgable " or ideal, of course. But, one must start somewhere! Good luck! Moria At 05:11 PM 8/8/2001 EDT, you wrote: >Hi > >Last night a miracle hit my house! DH wants to chelate DD!!!!!
