Which is safer, DMSA every 3 or 4 hours?

If you say every 3, is that because it would be easier on the

liver/less oxidative stress due to the pharmacokinetics of the drug,

or some other reason?

If you say every 3, then it should be OK to do every 4 hours at

night, just as with DMSA/ALA, right?

Very grateful to you.

When it is DMSA only, every 4 seems to be fine.

Hi Mireille,

I've lost track of some mail again-- I'm not sure if Andy

answered this (in which case you can just ignore me!)

DMSA alone: every 4 hours. Oftener is okay.

ALA alone: every 3 hours. Every 4 hours at night if it helps

(but this is stretching it). Oftener is okay

ALA + DMSA: same as ALA alone.

Oftener is okay (it is not better but it is okay if it helps for

practical reasons), less often is not okay.

Those are all as per my understanding of Andy.

I'm very grateful to Andy, too.

Moria

[doing chelation on mySELF: ALA only, 100 mg every 3 - 4 hours;

mostly 3 on and 4 - 11 off, some variations. On round 14.]
