It is an excellent idea to get the word out. Dr. Marinoff told my husband and

myself that the lack of education is why so many vv sufferers are mistreated and

misunderstood. Also on the research side I have heard stories of researchers

making up their statistics on this disorder (I have one particular researcher in

mind). What I would like to see is a research institute, where all the

treatments are studied and when they don't work the researchers are honest about

it. If I had back the money I have spent and lost during this ordeal (probably

around $15,000-$20,000 in 1999 alone) I would gladly use it to fund HONEST

research.

Jane Esplen and Manijeh Jand to come on Dr. Esplen is an RN PhD and career

scienist with he POHD in Mental Health She uses guided imagery as a technique

and is interested in interventions Dr. Jand is a physician who developed our
