The public hearing for it is scheduled for next Wed. afternoon, Feb. 16th in Jefferson City before the Senate Education Committee. The proportionate per pupil share of state aid appropriated for costs of direct instruction to the Missouri School for the Deaf and to the Missouri School for the Blind shall be distributed to each school district educating each child eligible to attend the Missouri School for the Deaf or the Missouri School for the Blind which elects to attend school in such district or receive services or other placement from such district. It is my understanding that there may be some revisions to the bill when it is introduced in committee.
