I'm trying to figure out which type of fish oil is best for my aunt,

who has MS. (I've been giving it to my special needs daughter for her

speech delay and I've read that it works the same way with myelination

in MS.)And advice? Research? Anecdotal evidence? Thanks much!! My

prayers to you all :-)!

P.S. I've come across several studies re: gluten sensitivity

(allergies) in neurologic conditions related to MS. I've been

researching food allergies as they relate to my daughter, but there is

A LOT of research relating it to your symptoms. FYI, in case a gluten

free diet could help anyone else. (A lot of kids with autism are now on

gluten free/casien free diets to help their neurologic disorder.)

IT needs to be a high quality fish oil like Carlton or Nordic Naturals. It

needs to be refrigerated and come in a dark or covered, glass jar. I would

NEVER buy cheap fish oil that has not been tested for Mercury! Also it depends

on what you want to take the fish oil for? Are you looking to increase the

Omega 3? There are other alternatives like Flax and hemp oil that are just as

high, or higher in Omega 3. There is also a wide variety of fish oil that you

need to be careful of taking the " right " one. For example, Cod Liver oil - is

just the oil from Cod's liver. There do not use the oil of any other parts -

that makes a difference too. Fish oil is oil from any/all parts of the fish.

Hope that helps.
