Leanne - I had some cramping and achiness for a few days after my HSG as well, but if your

pain is lasting longer than that, perhaps you have an ovarian cyst due to ovulation? It should

go away in a week or so, if it doesn't I'd check with your doctor....

RE: HSG question

I recently had a HSG, Ittook 10 minutes, its quite quick. You can watch your uterus and ovaries fill up with die. Someone told me its good to take antibiotics a couple of days before and after. I did anyway. Just in case. I dont want anymore infections. I must say that Ive been having some aching pain in the ovary area afterwards though. Anyone else experienced this? Im scared its an infection, but Ive been taking antibiotics. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Leanne

Leanne,

I also have had a couple of HSP's and know a few people that have had

them too. I had a little achiness too. One of my friends said it even

affected her period cycle and caused her to have more cramps when she

had her next period. I agree if you continue to have the achiness you

should at least let your doctor know what is going on. Good luck. Jody
