Guest guest
, why don't you ask the majority of the group if they appreciate your help. It is probably a very few who don't accept it. I'd like to thank you for your contributions. I think they are very helpful. Guest guest
would i rearrange my life to accommodate the continuation of this list? The honest answer is yes. What is yours? I joined almost one year ago (after dx) and have literally vested my post dx life on information found at the ms-diet site <http://www.ms-diet.org/> and the resources on this list (including yours ......very much so...ty for your input to my circle of healing...). So, if push came to shove I guess I would find a way but at the moment it is not possible to say a quick yes. I've learned that I need to do that....to not make decisions so rashly. So...if no-one else comes forward then I'd be a last ditch effort? LOL I don't think I've been on the list long enough to qualify with enough knowledge but I'm internet savvy enough to know what a moderator job entails. And, like many on this list....most of the involved members....we don't need a moderator to *defend* what is stated and very well presented at the ms-diet. This presentation<http://wildhorse.insinc.com/directms03oct2007>adequately addresses the logic of our choice. This is a support group for people who have MADE that decision isn't it? Namaste to all, Orla (40 yo woman, dx Feb 2007, onset sudden left hand side body numbness in April 2006...which has reduced considerably, however I am currently experiencing a pinched nerve in my neck in the area of my lesions on my cervical spine....and i am also currently wishing that someone in the health community could tell me what might be really going on since now that i have ms they think this will be my life......i have other plans but at the moment the pain is fairly extreme....which is why i can't say an immediate yes to the whole moderation thing.) Guest guest
Hi Orla. Thanks for your consideration. I found my replacement and it will be announced tomorrow. I speak from my own experiences, not to lead, but to share what I have learned. I will still be a member, not such an active member as I have been. It's time for me to move on and let someone else take care of running the show. A lot goes on that none of you see. Thankfully, sniping at each other has never really been a big issue at MScured. The list will continue and I will keep my moderator status until I'm sure that the new moderator has things under control. I will always be available to correspond with those of you who already write me off-list and for those who want to start writing. I'll just be a click away.
