Guest guest
Zirconium bridges This type of bridge is the newest type bridge. It contains no metal and is stronger than porcelain fused to metal bridge. It is best for the lighter shades of teeth or when lighter porcelain veneers are also being done. It also requires the removal of tooth structure of the adjacent teeth but not as much as porcelain fused to metal bridge. http://www.wboc.com/Global/story.asp?S=2866662 http://www.ceramco.com/pdf/cercon/cercon_css_clinicalevaluation.pdf  http://www.tncdental.com/tnc-products.htm http://www.contemporaryestheticsonline.com/issues/articles/2007-01_03.asp http://www.fairlightdentalpractice.co.uk/Case-Studies.php  http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:vzDMqiyCPb4J:newsblaze.com/story/2006080109\ 002300004.pz/topstory.html+zirconium+bridge & hl=en & ct=clnk & cd=3 & gl=us  an option: Zirconia implants  (safer and better function than titanium) http://www.ceraroot.com/ http://www.ceraroot.com/eng/pc/ http://www.osseonews.com/zirconium-implants/ http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?db=pubmed & list_uids=9813805 & cmd=Retriev\ e & indexed=google http://www.prof-dhom.de/scripts/get.aspx?media=/shop/home/ueberuns/ueberweiser/f\ achartikel/Poster_Cercon_Paris_EAO_2004.pdf
Guest guest
I am starting to lean toward a Zirconium dental bridge now--to replace my nickel bridge. Several holistic dentists in my area offer this. However, it still makes me a bit nervous, as I am pretty sure Zirconia is not natural to the body--but maybe the lesser of evils, as compared with metals. I did find a couple of dentists that can offer all-acryllic or all composite/resin bridges, but apparently these don't last as long. If anyone has personal knowledge of and or expererience with zirconia bridges, please let me know. Thanks, andrea > > > > Zirconium bridges > > > > This type of bridge is the newest type bridge.
