Guest guest
Maybe the sister is a non-essential family member. haha Or she is already dead? As far as I know, we only have one liver but two kidneys. Are you sure it wasn't the kidney they were talking about? > I'm watching the show " ER " as I write emails and there is a situation where > someone is in need of a liver transplant. Guest guest
Yes, when they have a living liver donor, they only use a portion of the donor liver. The liver is the only organ that actually regenerates itself...in about 6 weeks time The donor liver would then also grow to the needed since in the donor too ~Kate > > I am absolutely positive that they said liver.
