Guest guest
Danny, I had a port installed during my chemotherapy and did not experience any problems. I had it installed in March 2001 and had it removed in August 2001 (5 months) I am so sorry that your wife experienced such a problem and I have never heard of that happening. I hope that your wife has recuperated fully from the mild stroke. Guest guest
Hi Danny, I didn't have a port but a lot of the ladies have. I am sure they will get back with you. I will keep your wife in my prayer. Guest guest
Danny, I am so sorry to hear that this happened to your wife. How careless the doctor had to have been. I have not heard of this happening to anyone but with the way things go sometimes I would not be surprised to find out that someone else had the same experience. I hope she is doing well now. doris > Hi, > > My wife had a mild stroke as a result of the medi-port being > inserted into the artery and not the vein. > > Has anyone else here had or heard of this happening?
