Danny,

I had a port installed during my chemotherapy and did not

experience any problems. I had it installed in March 2001 and had it

removed in August 2001 (5 months) I am so sorry that your wife

experienced such a problem and I have never heard of that

happening. I hope that your wife has recuperated fully from the mild

stroke.

Hi Danny,

I didn't have a port but a lot of the ladies have. I am sure they

will get back with you. I will keep your wife in my prayer.

Hugs

Danny, I am so sorry to hear that this happened to your wife. How

careless the doctor had to have been. I have not heard of this

happening to anyone but with the way things go sometimes I would not

be surprised to find out that someone else had the same experience. I

hope she is doing well now. doris

--- Danny...I'm so sorry to hear this happened to your wife. I have

never heard of it happening. But geeze to be going thru chemo is

enough to deal with. I hope someone here can help you. Sending you
