Guest guest
Thank you for sharing Adrienne. This certainly sounds encouraging and that you are getting very squeaky clean! ,-) So tell me, how is it that you feel after so many cleanses....what are some of the major benefits you have physically, emotionally and mentally experienced as a result of these flushing cleanses. Peace Lu ----- Original Message ----- From: Adrienne McLaughlin gallstones Sent: Tuesday, March 12, 2002 10:58 AM Subject: results of 8th liver cleanse Hi all, This cleanse, by far, has been the easiest to get through. I ate a larger no-fat and no-fat lunch than usual before the 2pm cutoff of the cleanse. I wanted to make sure I wasn't hungry the rest of the night. I did get really thirsty around 9pm, and felt like I had to have a glass of water, so I did. I started having diarrhea last night just after the 8pm epsom drink (this is new!) but it stopped just before the 10pm oil/grapefruit drink. I slept like a baby, even though I forgot to take the ornithine capsules. Woke up at 7am and finished taking the 2 epsom drinks (they are still hard to get down). The biggest news for me is that there was hardly any stones or chaff to speak of. Maybe 50 very tiny stones, hardly worth counting, they were so small, and minimal chaff compared to past cleanses. Big difference in the amount of green stuff to count! So, I'm really encouraged. Will do the cleanse again next month; I am really waiting for the time when I have no stones to count! Hoping to be there soon myself.... Thanks for sharing the results. I do sure hope that even when you reach the maintenance level you'll still hang out with us. I'd miss your presence on the list otherwise. in health, rachel~ The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it and ignorance may deride it, but in the end there it is. Guest guest
Congrats Adrienne, Sounds like you are happy with your flush. I hope you are getting to the bottom of the barrel. One thing that happens to me is that when I ate a 'larger' non-fat breakfast and lunch (also thinking about getting hungry before the next days lunch) I had less results than before. Now I am planning on having breakfast and skipping the lunch just to be sure the bile is building up better from the fast. I think this helps me and it seems to be how my body flushes better. Just a thought. For some reason I'm thinking that any meal will cause some bile to exit the gb before hand and I want to be sure my fast is working better. Good luck on your next cleanse. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and since I did eat a little bit more than I usually would, guess I'll go back to eating normally next time to see if eating more is what made the difference in my results. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the encouragement...but now after reading Barry's post, maybe the results weren't what I thought they were....oh well....I'm in this for the long haul anyway....and thankful for the little bits of info we pick up from sharing each other's experiences. Well, each body is different as much as each cleanse is different. It's good that you have the attitude of being in this for the long haul. I think that too often people think they can do a flush and then be done with it and go back to their old lifestyles! Obviously that's not the case with you (especially since this was your 8th!). My goal is to develop a cleansing lifestyle. I don't want to wait until there are further problems and then try to fix them. I'd like to head them off at the pass, so to speak, and do what I can to improve my health and hopefully avoid some of those common ailments that many people just associate with getting older. With each cleanse I feel like my overall habits improve a bit. Sometimes it's like " three steps forward and two steps back " , but I try to remind myself that I'm coming from years of REALLY unhealthy dietary and lifestyle habits. Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say, and it's going to take some time for me to get my stuff in order as well. But each movement forward is a movement in a positive direction. One step at a time! And I, too, am grateful for the bits that we pick up from each other when we share our experiences. in health, rachel~ The truth is incontrovertible.
