The symptoms of that of a depleted hormonal state often first manifest as l Sleep disturbances/insomnia l Chronic fatigue (CFS) l Hot flashes l Depression l Mood swings l Memory loss l Urinary infections/incontinence l Loss of sex drive. These symptoms and the condition of a depleted hormonal state can greatly affect a woman's well being, her social/work life, and family life. If you are experiencing hot flashes, night sweats, loss of sex drive, and chronic fatigue... these are red flags of hormonal change/loss. Other symptoms such as depression, mood swings (crying to rage) can be bought on and caused by loss of hormone production, loss of hormones, and hormone shock. While an older woman (over age 50 or 55) who takes this quiz may check off 10 or so symptoms, this may not be surprising. On the other hand, a young PTwoman (under the age of 40) checking off 10 symptoms, including hot flashes and loss of sex drive would be. The younger the woman, and the more symptoms she's experiencing, the more alarming it becomes. Long term, a depleted hormonal state such as this if left untreated in a young woman can lead to accelerated bone loss, earlier and more severe cases of osteoporosis, and increased risk of (and earlier onset of) heart disease (HD) (dying of heart attack/stroke). *This quiz is designed as an educational tool.
