Guest guest
I will add another question to yours. Of course I do understand the whole concept of how the gallbladder contracts to release the bile to aid in the emulsifying of the fat that is consumed. However.....does the contraction differ according to the amount of fat? In other words, is it just a standard contraction or does it attempt to push MORE bile out for larger amounts of fat? Perhaps this may seem like an elementary question, but it actually is important to answer the question of the " power flush " vs the " gradual flush " . If the strength of the contraction is based on the amount of fat, then it would seem that the stubborn stones would be more likely to be passed with drinking a larger amount of oil at one time, as opposed to spacing it out over several hours. On the other hand, if the contraction is the same regardless of the amount of fat, then it would seem to make sense to space the drinks out so that there are repeated contractions of the gallbladder over the course of an evening and then perhaps the stone would be jostled with one of the initial contractions and pushed out in a latter one. Guest guest
Regarding the posts about using the " slower " version of the cleanse for larger stones and problem gall bladders - I am wondering, is this because you are more likely to pass the stone using this approach (taking the oil in smaller doses over a longer period of time) or is it because it may be better not to do a forceful flush that would make a large stone try to come out and possibly get stuck...while slower version would clear out a lot of smaller stuff, without the intense push of taking a lot of oil at once...does that make sense??
