I am forwarding this e-mail from Bernard Windham, a chemical engineer who

has done extensive, in depth research on the HEINOUS crime of using amalgam

(mercury) dental fillings. Make no mistake about it......amalgam dental

fillings have caused very serious consequences to the health of millions of

innocent and trusting people who could not tolerate such a burden of mercury

" You are absolutely, positively, without question, not a doubt,

correct that solids don't vaporize. "

Solids do undergo a similar process called sublimation.

Ever see dry ice turn to fog?

So in a sense, solids can vaporize.
