Guest guest
Hi Deb, How are you doing? Hope everything is going well with you. Dr. Ochoa is some leading authority in chronic pain and how it works supposedly according to my doctor who is doing new things in the chronic pain field. He believes the old school theories that the pain is psychologically maintained, I think. I really don't know that much about him other than what I have read here and there online. My treating physician who just released me with no referrals in place mentioned him several times and spoke of him highly. I am going to see a new pain mgmt doc this morning (depends on whether she will write a referral or not) and I hear he is a holistic believer. This probably means he won't prescribe oxycontin or any other narcotic analgesic and I will have trouble getting the blocks scheduled if I can have any more. Lots of fun things ahead for me! Have you gone to WebMD to search for Dr. Ochoa? There must be some information out there on him somewhere. I haven't had time lately to do much of anything except deal with insurance companies and try to get this mortgage through. I have also started with the doctor appts. again as I am able to drive now. I will probably start physical therapy again 1 week from Monday. My son is eligible to get his driver's permit on the 22nd and he is excited! It would be nice to have a chauffeur but I prefer one with experience!! HOLD ON!! Here we go ready or not!! LOL Well, take care Deb and let me know what's new with you.
