The medic's license plate bill got stomped by Rep. , D-Dallas,

who assigned it to Bill Purgatory and refused to call it up for a vote. It

only needed to be called out and it would have been passed without a shadow

of a doubt. This woman decided that there were too many license plate bills

for her taste, so she arbitrarily decided to report out 50% of them, and ours

wasn't one of them.

You might want to let her know what you think.

Hi ,

I would love to talk to you all about it. Because of my crazy results I

decided to look at the business. I knew I wanted my whole family on it and I

wanted to give back to people like me. Well, I found out that there are

thousands like me! I talk to someone everyday with MS. And it comes in so many

forms.

I went from looking at a wheelchair 31/2 years ago to starting a kick boxing

class today! I guess I have reason to be passionate about what I do. Sharing

reliv is easy...just share your heart and tell the truth. I get to be a stay at

home mom at the same time.

Were do you live? Maybe you have a foundation city next to you! I live in NJ.

We are having a Special event here on March 7Th. That is when you really get to

see what these products can do for you and people you love.

Don't go get more of those vitamins to you at least listen to a couple of

stories....don't just believe me.

Look forward to talking...

F.Y.I. I have a meeting in the morning, I will be home to grab lunch then get

my son to his basketball game! I should be home after 3:30 ET.

Also, click on the link in my signature. You can see what that this company is

really about!

Holistic/biological dentists use what's called " composite " fillings,

which are non metal. Actually, nowadays even most mainstream dentists

used composite fillings, rather than mercury amalgams.

Even with the composites, To be extra safe, there is certain blood

testing you can do before a cavity is filled (or other dental work is

done) to find out what the body is suited for (boicompatibility

testing). One of these tests is called " Clifford Testing. " There is

another blood test recommended by the Hal Huggins Institiute, although

I don't know the name of it, the Hal Huggins Institute can tell you.

These tests help ensure that even the composite materials will be safe

for the body---for the particular individual. The most important thing

is not to let the dentis put any metal dental materials in your mouth.

Root canals are also best avoided.

This is the response I received when I discussed the issue that I was hearing a lot of people were going to the Dan Marino Center and being turned away from getting an evaluation done by one of the neurologists as their insurances were no longer accepted.

Robin

This is Al Rego’s response (Director at Center) to your inquiry about insurance. It may be some of the private physicians that come to the Center who are not accepting insurances. Please feel free to refer people to me if they are having an ongoing problem. I’ll do what I can. Hopefully, the insurance bill will go through and alleviate some problems.

Hello Laurel,

I'd be loathe to second guess the Cleveland Clinic. They are

one of the best in the country.

If your friend's dad had radiation recently, with only a few

months to live, I suspect that it was not for the purpose of

curing his cancer, but rather to reduce pain. When the cancer

spreads to the bones it can be incredibly painful and the pain

can sometimes be greatly alleviated by radiating the painful

spots. It kills some cancer in those spots and may extend life

by a very short time, but not by much.

Some treatments given for advanced cancer may include:

Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT, also called Hormone Therapy).

Ketoconazole

Estradiol

Leukine

Revlimid (a thalidomide variant)

Docetaxel (a chemotherapy agent)

The first one, ADT, is the most common treatment and usually the

most useful one. The others are usually tried only if and when

ADT fails. All of them have side effects. None of them is a

cure. Some of them have little or no effect in some men.

I'm sure that all of this stuff is well known to the Cleveland

doctors. It may be that they've tried some of them, or that

they don't think they will help, or that his overall medical

condition is poor and not amenable to further treatment, or that

they've discussed the treatments with your friend's dad and he's

decided against them.

It's hard to know what to do for a person or his family at this

stage of life. It's not the kind of situation that most of us

face very often. My feeling is that it is useful to discuss

possible treatments with a patient, but not useful to get his

hopes up. Sometimes we can help most by just being good friends

and helping the patient and the family to enjoy as best they can

the time they have left.

There are also many practical considerations that the family

needs to consider about wills and estates, personal legacies and

so on. I presume the family has taken care of this stuff but,

if not, they need to.

I have limited info but what I was told was that he was the type to always have his yearly check-up and it was always normal. Last year it came back high so they did a biopsy and told him that it was an aggressive kind of prostate cancer and the only thing they could do was radiation. It didn't

help him and has rapidly spread to his lungs, ribs, legs, etc. He was told he only has a couple of months to live and there is nothing to be done. They suggested no treatment (according to his daughter) except the radiation and she is wondering why there wasn't more that could be done. I don't know anything about the aggressive type except that this whole thing has happened so quickly to her that she has no idea if something was missed. His PSA is now 1000.

What is his medical history with the disease?

What are his statistics?

What have them given him besides radiation? ADT? Chemo? HD/HC?
