We will be starting phase 2 on our son this weekend. He cannot take pills so we

give him everything from a syring. My question is, when adding ALA how many

ounces of juice should you mix with it. I remember reading that it can burn or

irritate the throat, is this correct?

Hi,

Right now we are on phase 1 and we give our son supplements and the

DMSA in a tiny amount of juice, probably not even one once. Now at

night we have a really hard time getting him awake enough to give him

even that amount, although we are always successful. When we add the

ALA how in the world do you guys get that amount of fluids in the

children so that it does not burn? In the day time I don't think this

will be a problem at all, but the night time doses are a bear

already, I can't imagine trying to get him awake enough to drink afew

ounces, not to mention the sugar in the juice that we try to avoid to

the fullest extent!!! This is not a capsule swallowing boy, or one

that would take it out of a syringe, he is 8, thanks, Leah
