Guest guest
Hi , May I suggest you include LDN and colloidal silver in your treatment regimen as recommended at http://tinyurl.com/grpm9 The LDN will act to boost your immune system so that, if you do have an active viral infection, your body will be helped to overcome it. The CS will act as a broad spectrum antimicrobial to disable any active viral invaders. All the best, Dudley Delany http://profiles.yahoo.com/dudley_delany
Guest guest
Olive leaf extract, oleuropein, has some activity against retroviruses. There are also many papers from the 1960s showing antimicrobial activity. When I had my biotech shop, which went out of business due to the death of my business partner, we had test tube (in-vitro) data demonstrating activity (efficacy) against a couple of different retroviruses. I had wanted to publish some of the work, then my health went to you-know-where in a hand basket. If I get better I'll start writing again. I had put all of that work aside. Maybe it's time to start taking the stuff? > > I just got some blood work back and am positive for Epstein Barr (EB). > The doctor said my level indicates that I either had EB in the past or > am at the tail end of an episode now.... Guest guest
I've been taking olive leaf extract and it seems to do me some good. The flu has gone through my household twice this winter and I'm the only one who did not get it......or colds either. No one else in my house used olive leaf. I'm going to continue using it! Guest guest
Everyone tested will show positive to EBV. .....RP trekkie323 wrote: I just got some blood work back and am positive for Epstein Barr (EB). The doctor said my level indicates that I either had EB in the past or am at the tail end of an episode now. He said that based on my blood level for the test, which is positive, but not high enough to indicate I am in any sort of acute phase of the virus. He said I could have even had it years ago, and sometimes the level just stays a bit high. I am concerned because if I have had EB for a while and that was the trigger/cause of my disease, how would that impact the solution. Are things like detoxing and diet even still relevant. Is there any way to get rid of a virus in the body? If anyone has any knowledge or opinions on this topic, I'd appreciate it. Guest guest
A most common virus. Everyone has been exposed in childhood. It is the cause of Mono. ..RP Robyn Gorrie wrote: Why? Guest guest
Epstein Barr is the only virus that has been consistently implicated in the genesis of M.S. That does not constitute a simple cause-effect relationship, the MonSter is trickier than that, but from a research perspective it is implicated as a significant trigger. I had already deduced that by assessing my lifetime medical history. where Glandular Fever (Epstein Barr) was the only illness I caught that stood out from all of the otherwise 'typical' (amongst my Australian peers) diseases I contracted during my early-mid teens. When you think about it the symptoms of Glandular Fever are very similar to M.S. (fatigue, weakness, muddle headed/ foggy thinking etc). Other research suggests that those who get M.S. have a genetic vulnerability to the disease. That being said there was no, and still isn't, any treatment for Glandular Fever so that doesn't help us much. M. Guest guest
Epstein Barr is one of the 8 herpes virus'. In fact, it is also known as Herpes Symplex 4 and is responsible for mononucleoses. Some people theorize that mono or Epstein Barr leads or mutates into MS. Of course that hasn't been totally proven. But what I do know is almost EVERYONE has Herpes of one flavor or another. Even in infants or children it shows up. It is highly contagious in different formats and doesn't mean one will have genital herpes, but the virus is wide spread. Even Roseola - a VERY common sickness in children - is a herpes virus - so is chicken pox. The best thing is our own immune system which will create immunities to them and that is the case with Epstein Barr (they say one can only get mono once) - the problem is when our body miscommunicates and turns into MS or something else.
