Hi again,

My comment:

" You were brave to try it

too (No?), because I suppose your attack could have gotten worse, not

better, depending maybe on the amount of bile already in your

gallbladder and liver. "

was referring to the possibility that there may not be enough bile in the

gallbladder at the time of the attack, to cause enough pressure to push the

offending stones out...which is why we eat a no-fat breakfast and lunch before

the cleanse. However, since there seems to be enough pressure to cause the

stones to be " stuck, " there very well could be enough to push them out with the

aid of injesting oil during an attack. I definitely think what you did was

worth trying and am happy you had such a good result. I'm not sure about your

idea that the oil aided lubrication of the bile ducts, because the oil bypasses

that whole system, and I don't know if it can be absorbed quickly enough to be

of that kind of benefit during an attack.

questions I've been thinking about

lately. Could it have made it worse? If the gallbladder is a

storage pouch for the bile and the gallbladder is contracting but

blocked by a stone - how could the introduction of the oil make

things any worse? I'm genuinely asking the question because I

really want to thoroughly understand the whole process.

The gallbladder, from what I've read, holds about a cup of bile. The

liver is constantly producing bile and dripping it into the

gallbladder, but it isn't like there would all of a sudden be a huge

amount of bile flushing INTO the gallbladder. During an attack it's

all about the bile going OUT of the gallbladder. If the oil causes

the gallbladder to contract when it is dormant, then what would it do

when the gallbladder is already contracting? If another element of

the oil is that it lubricates, then it would seem that the

introduction of oil would be a good thing for the bile ducts when the

gallbladder is already contracting and would aid in the removal of

the stone that's in the way.

It's just a theory. Obviously last night it worked for me and I'm

rid of two dozen more stones this morning as a result. But whether

that was by luck or logic - remains to be seen!

in health,

rachel~
