Sue, How old is your daughter? When is her surgery?

Cory is 16 and hers surgery is set for May 21. She is doing great. She's been

reviewing through the websites I saved for her, and getting caught up on her

school work. She talked with the Dean at the Bible Camp and has his total

support. They will take her, at camp, whenever she's ready. I talked with him

too and he will keep his eye on her. She told me that another gal she knows

just had this done, and after two weeks is still eating very soft foods. So,

she is expecting me to keep her supplied with very soft foods up at camp. No

problem--whatever I have to do for her is fine. We're going to go shopping

shortly before the surgery--a gal's day, and get some new pajamas and stuff to

spoil her during her recovery. She's requested T-Bone steak for her " last

meal " . LOL!! I can do that!

We will get through this together.

Have a great weekend. Terry

Subject: Re: /Zip N Squeeze

Donna, I got the Zip-N-Squeeze a week or so ago. They arrived just a

few days after ordering them by phone, and we're in MI. When I spoke

with then, she did say she was getting ready to go to an

upcoming convention, so I'm sure that's where she is if you've been

unable to reach her. Since you're so close by, I doubt you'll have a

problem getting your supplies. Looks like has been successful

in impacting the market in your area, CA, since your hospitals are

now using the bags--lucky you! I doubt that is the case here in MI,

so I'm glad we've got the bags and jaw wrap in our hot little hands.

Well, my daughter's and your surgeries are just around the corner

now...are you ready? She just finished classes and has that load off

her shoulders, although she has taken on some freelance work in

addition to her part-time job that will keep her busy right up until

THE DAY. We are headed to the pre-op physical on Monday. We are going

to ask about the blood donation thing. This is not something that my

daughter has been asked to do. I don't know how likely having to have

a transfusion is--hopefully, unlikely since she hasn't given blood.

Donna, keep us posted on what's happening with you. Did you say

you're having upper and lower for a class II? I can't remember now.

It will be " the works " on this end--upper, lower, and genio. Needless

to say, we have our fingers crossed that all goes well. Sue
