Guest guest
A couple of people have mentioned weight loss recently, so I thought I would chime in on the subject. I don't often get on the scale, but for some reason I did last week and was pleasantly surprised to see that it has gone down a number of pounds. I haven't been watching my intake as much as I could, so I'm guessing the weight loss is attributable to the flushing. Pretty cool side benefit! in health,
Guest guest
Weight loss...I am an expert at that!!!!!!! First of all it is very difficult to eat when nothing tastes good. I try to eat as much as I can make myself eat but alot of the time I am hungry for hours before I actually eat. I drink alot of bottled water so my stomach will not burn. When I cut out the carbs and I stopped taking my harmones I lost my appitite then I noticed my clothes were getting more and more loose. Now they just sort of hang on me, not attractive for a single woman!!! I am feeling better now but am still very very thin. I also seem to need more sleep but I cannot take naps during the day so I just keep going and going. I usually have two small meals a day. I eat cabbage soup alot, usually make a 3egg omelet and eat 1/2 one day and the other 1/2 the next. I put cheese, sausage, onions, greenpeppers in it - not too thick. I eat salads using alot of Ranch dressing. I really like to mix tomatoes, onion, cucumber together and eat that. I use Splenda and Stevia mostly for tea and coffee. When I drink anything it is diet and decaf. I use the sugar free diabetic syrup from Cracker Barrell restaurant and sometimes put it on a piece of cornbread (watch carbs here) with alot of butter. Sorry for the rambleing... If your wanting to lose weight just be careful...you may get what you want...and then some. I do not like being this thin!!!!!! I have also lost too much weight ...almost 30 pounds...look aneroxic now but am putting a little weight on in my stomach area. I never was able to get rid of the candida ...it is in the form of thrush. My tongue is better now, but everytime I eat carbs it flares up, turns white, has red patches and burns. I read posts all of the time saying all you have to do is this or that and it will go away. That is partially true, it goes away for about two weeks and comes back EVERY TIME. I cannot afford to lose anymore. I'd like to know what I can do to gain at least 8-10 lbs back! Guest guest
Okay, a couple of things jump out at me - Ranch dressing? Have you checked the label for the ingredients? There are bound to be lots of things you can't have in it. Try extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice with garlic and herbs as a dressing rather. Secondly, sausage? Do you know what goes into sausages - you wouldn't touch them with a barge pole if you did. Why don't you eat vegetables, your diet should have a lot of vegetables in them. I use lemon juice and olive oil as a dressing on most vegetables and it is very nice tasting. You can blend the lemon juice and olive oil to make a thicker dressing. If you aren't eating enough, you are making yourself sicker. Supplement your diet with lots of vegetables and you will be fuller and feel better. Keen weight loss...
