Now she'll have to swallow her words when the second A1C comes back with the

same great numbers.

Way to go, Art!!!

Good for you, Art! Excellent test results. The beauty of this is that

you will make a believer of her (unless she is totally pig-headed),

and then she will go on to share that new insight with her other

patients.

ROTFLMAO! Of course, it couldn't POSSIBLY be the UNHEALTHY, FADDISH low-carb

diet you're on, it HAD to have been a LAB ERROR! (snort! ;@) Congratulations

on the great A1c number!

p.s. My Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Mocha, says she is sick and tired of

always being blamed for everything like this ;@) Fortunately, she doesn't hold

grudges and has a memory span

of about 45 seconds max.

Art,

I'm still laughing! When your 2nd results come back in the same range, she

will probably ask why you're having so many hypoglycemic episodes. Then,

she'll just shake her head out of disbelief. Maybe she'll change labs

next?? Keep smiling!

Art, good for you. When my last A1c came back 5.2 the doctor looked

shocked, and said in an awed tone, " It's normal! " I don't think she

fully believed it either, but I pulled out my log book and showed her

my readings for the past month or so. Make sure you take your log

with you when you go to your doctor, so she can see the daily

progress you have made. Keep up the good work!! I remember when I

first joined this group you were making statements like " I'd kill for

BG readings under 150. " Now look at you!

I think these success stories are so inspiring. And, Christy, your response

to Art is so awesome. Art, I am so proud of you.

And, yes, you can actually almost see the bubble with a huge question mark

above the doctor's head when s/he is reading that log!!! LOL!! Take the

log with you. They see the daily food and the b/s readings and it really

confounds them ... hehehehe.

Thanks Yvette. He is my PCP appointed to me by Medicaid. He is very open

minded, very smart, funny and helpful. I got lucky. He knows how I feel about

medications, colonics and supplementation (I'm anti those things) and he agrees

with me. I guess that's why I think he's smart! Actually, he has a way of

explaining things that makes sense to me and he listens as much as he talks. He

drew pictures of the CNS for me on the liner of the exam table to explain why

the nerve signals skipped over the damaged myelin. He wants to see copies of

some of my research and is checking into FES (Funtional Electrical Stimulation)

to see if that might be an option for me if PT is unsuccessful. I also like

that he is willing to work with the Physical Therapist to get me walking. It's

a totally new allopathic experience.

Hi Tom, I think that I was deficient in iodine and since taking Modifilan, my

thyroid symptoms have improved. The point is that my tests showed my T3, T4 an

TSH to be normal. I'm not completely sure if the Modifilan bound with and

removed mercury or if the iodine worked alone. There is a strong connection

between mercury and iodine on the thyroid. I noticed improvement in my symptoms

almost immediately, within a few weeks. I've been taking Modifilan for quite

awhile now. I initially took it for mercury detox, but the iodine is one of the

reasons that I take it now. I also eat kelp and a variety of seaweed as well as

taking Modifilan (raw seaweed). Even Harold wrote in his book, " What

really Causes MS " , that iodine deficiency may be the reason that MS occurs in

various areas of the world.

" Nesler, J " wrote: Hi !

Glad to hear that you are satisfied with your results. You thyroid

symptoms interest me. Are you saying that because you took Modifilan,

your symptoms are better or did they only affect the thyroid levels but

not your symptoms/

Just curious!...:-)
