Guest guest
Thank you for your kind words Ida. Very nice of you. I had no idea we had another attorney in our midst! That's great! I think we may be in the same boat as far as lining measurements go....I'll find out after my appointment this Saturday (more to come on that in my next post).....I definitely know what you mean about taking a break. It is so easy to become obsessed with this....and there is a point I think every woman has to reach for themselves when " enough " finally becomes " enough " and they decide they have to move on to other options. I can't believe how horrible it must have been to go through multiple miscarriages...how heartbreaking. I just don't know how I would deal with that.....and I can only imagine that the prospect of another one would be too much. Have you had any treatments to improve your lining? (Sorry I can't remember) Have you had injectibles or viagra? As I understand it...(and I have a lot to learn in this area I am sure) these two can really help some women build better linings....but as I said....only you and your family can decide when to stop pursuing your own biological child and focus on adoption or surrogacy. In our case, we have decided that we will do whatever we can to build up my lining to an acceptable level....and if we can do that we will try to conceive. If we can carry to term....a miracle! If not....then, we'll start pursuing adoption right away. I know myself, and my family and we are just not cut out for multiple miscarriages and multiple failures. I just don't think we could handle it. Once we have done everything we can to improve my ability to carry....I sort of feel like....if we are meant to have another biological child....we will. And if we don't, then perhaps we are meant to adopt. I know that may sound fatalistic to some....and maybe it is. And I in no way mean to belittle anyone else's decision to pursue additional surgeries or options.....I just don't think it's for me. Whatever your decision, we are here to support you!
