Where do you get a doctor?

I keep on reading about doctor ordered comprehensive tests and doctors

with holistic approach and my (somewhat rude I guess) question is -

are guys all rich and simply can afford to pay such doctors? I have

puny Kaiser coverage from my job and they look at me like I have two

heads when I ask them about such tests. The only thing I was able to

get is a scratch food allergy test and it showed that there is

absolutely nothing that I am alleric to. The general responce I get -

" if you are in pain, we can prescribe the pain-killers "

What a poor (as in money-poor) girl to do?
