Guest guest
Deb D., Hi! How long did you have RSD before the stimulator was put in? Where is your stim located? My doctor says this one is implanted in the thigh. he also said mine would be very noticable because I dont have too much extra fat. Did you get instant relief after the surgery? Lots of questions I know, but I am curious. Thanks, and I am so glad that you have had some relief with the stimulator. Love Jai
Guest guest
Dearest Jai, I will do the best I can to answer all of your questions. I had RSD for two and a half years before the stim. Mine is implanted in my upper buttock. The relief was instantaneous. It was so amazing to be laying on the operating table and having relief even before they stitched me up. Sounds gross, but with this pain it was a godsend. Your decision is do you want the pain relief or do you want the external look? Ask away, no problem, I wish I had had someone to talk to before my surgery. I had the first one implanted in Kansas City, noone to talk to except my doc. I really trust him or I might not have done it. Deb-D
