Guest guest
Bill, the MS society has a scholarship. www.nationalmssociety.org/Scholarship.asp Your son will have to apply for all kinds of scholarships. I still wonder all the time where the money will come from to make it possible for him to go. My nephew started his first year of college and I hope he does well in school this year.My wife starts her new job this Monday and it looks like they have good insurance and I am hoping I can still get into the Tysabri study. I was wondering will insurance pick up covering medical trials, especially since they had trouble with it once? A local MS meeting in October has a woman that will be talking about Tysabri and I want to hear more about it.I hope you get good results from it again.BillKickin Canes wrote:>> Hi Bill, I have been a very bad stranger to you and all. Guest guest
I used to work at a community college in the admissions/registration department. There are often in-house scholarships at the individual colleges, too. Is your son graduating from high school this coming spring? My advice is for him to apply for every scholarship there is that fits him. The high school guidance counselor will have a list of scholarships. When my daughter-in-law was in her senior year she applied for numerous scholarships and she ended up with 5 or 6! Many people don't know a person can have, and use, more than one scholarship. Several of her scholarships were good for more than one year. I'm sure her advice would be to go for any and all scholarships. It paid off for her. I look forward to hearing more about 's decisions. Does he have any idea yet of a major? hugs)))Sharon Sharon (MSersLife Group Owner/Creator) It's not easy taking my problems one at a time when they refuse to get in line. ~Ashleigh Brilliant* Re: Bill> >> > > >> > When I was a Junior in high school went to J-Everet Life at North> > Central our school Noblesville offered and I took electronic and I had> > my 69 Chevy Malibu> > <http://hometown. aol.com/zz69chev elle/myhomepagea uto2.html> and I was> > a big fan of Boston <http://www.mp3. com/albums/ 2039/summary. html > <http://www.mp3. com/albums/ 2039/summary. html>> and> > played that tape all the time. Guest guest
is a Junior this year but Judy and I stress how he needs to work toward getting good grades this year. Judy went to a program the high school had recently discussing kids going to college and Judy said that was big help to her. really hasn't said much about college yet, I do know though it plays on his mind a lot. I will be interested in seeing if he considers the military when he gets out. Bill Sharon Marsden wrote: > I used to work at a community college in the admissions/registration > department.
