Adam Feinstein is a British journalist specializing in autism and in Spanish and Latin American literature. From October 4-11, 2006, Feinstein is running the second Awares international online autism conference (free) (www.autism2006.org), in which many of the world's leading autism experts are taking part. He is the editor of two autism-related websites, AutismConnect (www.autismconnect.org) and Awares (www.awares.org), as well as a monthly international autism newsletter, Looking Up (www.lookingupautism.org), which he founded soon after his own son, ny, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. Feinstein writes regularly for the UK national daily, the Guardian. Feinstein's biography of the Chilean Nobel Prize-winning poet, Pablo Neruda: A Passion for Life, was published by Bloomsbury in 2004, and he is currently writing a book on autism for the same publisher.
