Guest guest
Hi Rikki, I was into my third time going hypo (in just over a year) when I found this listserv. My very first post also had the same heading " weird symptoms " as I thought I was losing my mind. Both my endo and surgeon (ENT) insisted that my falling asleep arms and legs were not thyca related. Thanks to the wonderful people here, I found out I was normal afterall - what a relief! Water retention causes a host of strange things. BTW, I do still have a slight tendancy towards sleeping arms but for the most part I went back to normal once I was TSH suppressed.... and I still occasionally remind my endo that there are weird symptoms (so she'll know when her next patient complains of something not in her regular medical textbook).
